The best time is now
If you have considered buying a yacht, there is no time like right now to do so. For one, when the economy is the way it is now, it is a good time for those with money to leverage the incredible savings that are possible. Several examples of the “newness” of used yachts
Buying used yachts has its options. Because they are yachts, they are set apart in terms of quality, luxury, and usability – or at least they should be. Another prime example of “like new” is the 2009 90’ Hargrave Sky Lounge yacht, MY LADY M, which is just barely one year old and it looks new and smells new! The 96’ raised pilothouse, LA VIDA built in 2004, which was specifically designed for people who like to entertain and live life fully. It was in Bristol condition inside and out and sold within 90 days of going on the market. Another prime listing we have for sale, the 2005, 115’ Tri-deck, MISSY B II reviewed in a Power & Motoryacht video (accessible below), once again is all new, having just completed a $1.0 million refit that included an all new flybridge deck. When you see it, you will find it hard to believe it’s actually not a new yacht. Seeing these examples, side by side, will positively demonstrate that Hargrave’s high-quality in the original build keeps them looking younger, longer. It’s in the Hargrave “genes.”
Original high-quality construction makes all the difference
Adherence to high quality in a yacht means it can be a “used yacht” but it isn’t going to seem like one. When Hargrave Brokerage & Charter brings on yachts for sale, if they are not up to the Hargrave standard, they are refitted until they are. Materials are selected to endure the salt air and harsh sun. These yachts are designed throughout to be enjoyed at sea but resist the corroding effects as much as possible. As with so many other used boats along the marinas, you will not see weather-worn, tattered covers and cushions, or dried out and blemished materials on Hargrave Custom Yachts for sale.
